McDonald's fans are in shock and awe after learning the fast food chain sells a "Ronald Birthday Cake" in a now-viral TikTok.
But employees are just shocked to learn it exists.
In a 17-second clip with 5.4 million views, Kayleigh Weeks, who goes by @kayrock93 on the social media site, revealed the secret menu item, a Ronald McDonald sheet cake, which costs $9.
The video shows the dense chocolate cake, with a screen-printed Ronald McDonald juggling in the center, being cut into a square. "Did you know McDonald's sells 9-dollar cakes?" reads text over the clip.
Nearly 11,500 Golden Arches fanatics, who commented underneath the video, had no clue about the sheet cake's existence.
But it turns out, the so-called exclusive menu item appears to be a secret to McDonald's New York City workers, too.
The Post visited a McDonald's location in Midtown Manhattan to ask about the "secret menu" birthday cake, but employees were immediately confused.
"Umm, do you have points?" a cashier asked. Another worker chimed in, "No, we don't have it. It has to be more corporate-owned," suggesting the Times Square location may offer it.
But the popular 42nd Street location also doesn't offer the elusive "Ronald McDonald Birthday Cake."
"I’ve never seen any cakes here," an employee told The Post, before consulting her manager, who offered to investigate if the cake could be pre-ordered.
The Post has reached out to McDonald's for comment.
The fast food chain's website features the 300-calorie "Ronald Birthday Cake," which comes in vanilla and chocolate flavor but does not reveal how customers can get their hands on it.
According to FoodXP, the special birthday cakes are available at selected locations but must be listed on the official menus in order for customers to purchase them.
Mickey D's fans were stunned by the fact a cake even exists.
"Sense when do we sell this," questioned one person. "This is NEW to me."
The cake was once a popular dessert for birthday parties hosted at the fast-food chain in the 1980s and 1990s, so many commenters were stunned to see the cake is still around.
"I remember I had a mcdonalds cake for my birthday in elementary school LOLL 😭😭," reminisced one Mickey D's fan.
"It's $9 cuz they have been trying to sell it since 1983," quipped one person. "They have been in the freezer for 15 years."
In a follow-up video, Weeks shows viewers the cake-buying process at the Omaha, Nebraska, fast food chain, which comes boxed and tightly wrapped in plastic.
She captured her family taste-testing the infamous cake, who appeared to enjoy the dessert.
"It's pretty good," said one family member. "It's edible."
Another TikToker, @catsandchrist, snagged a vanilla sheet cake last month claiming she "didn't taste freezer, but it was definitely not high on my ratings of cakes."
